Do acupuncture needles hurt?
Acupuncture is not supposed to hurt. It's supposed to be a relaxing experience. However, some acupuncture points can be a little sensitive on insertion due to blocked meridians, but they ease after just a few seconds. Each needle is so fine and delicate, you can fit 18 of them into a regular blood test syringe. However, we welcome any concerns or phobias you may have regarding this.
